Food was meh. Service took long. Not to blame them. There was a contest going on so the entire bar was full.
Went for wing night wednesdays. Super cheap wings. The place is also huge so it's great to go with a larger group
Terrible Service! Felt belittled, given attitude from two employees. Ignorance.Came in around 1030is in October 07. Wasnt that D. 5 other tables. We had waited for just a welcoming and what we want 15 mins later from waitress, her name Katie as I recall. Im legally deaf on the left side of ear, my friend had asked Katie to repeat herself again kindly cause we couldnt hear her, she had rolled her eyes as she slightly turned her head around. Took our orders, left again for another 15. Basically did the same thing as first time round. We played pool and ordered wings and thought to give it time. We had just asked for the bill. She given the bill to us, but never came back to have us pay. So I had my friend with me at the front just to make things easier for them. Paid. Then I asked for a takeout box and she given me the takeout box, and never came back. Ive been a waitress before, and bartender, and Its in your job criteria to pack the food and give them a option if theyd like to pack it themselves . She didnt give us any utensils to pick our leftovers up with till I had to ask her when she returned to the till. Made a complaint and notified her what I found was wrong and wasnt so nice to us paying customers. On my way home, I had called to AJs. I have Bluetooth on my phone so my brother and cousin could hear the whole convo.The guy bartender, not sure of his name, but whomever was on the Oct.07/1030pm shift, that I wanted to notify him of a complaint. He hung up.I wasnt sure if it was my phone. So I call again. Told the bartender that I had just called and I wanted to notify of a complaint. His response was: Hi, I called few seconds again and you hung up? Yeah so.Why?BecauseWell because why...?I hung up because I dont need to hear about any complaints from people I dont care about such as customers. Goodnight.*hangs up again*Ill be reporting this to the manager. Luckily, I had my brothers phone recording this conversation in case of my Bluetooth conversation throughout the vehicle system. Hopefully the manager does something. Im currently with customer service and never treat my customers like this. Not once. I used to love coming to this place till I got attitude from the waitress. I wanted to order a Palm Bay but she said they dont sell it. Im a Smirnoff Ive drinker. So she suggested just Mikes Hard. I asked if there was anything else. She then said they have Smirnoff Ice. She had made me feel belittered, and not worthy of a customer anymore. My husband and I come here usually Saturdays a for the steak . But well forgeg that. Hopefully this helps others.
I've been here numerous times but never ate their food. I ordered on skip and it was so beyond great... I'm Still shocked when I told my fiance where it was from he kept referencing original Joe's until I explained to him it was the location we went to on Wednesdays occasionally. Their hangover burger was absolutely amazing and their jalapeno poppers remind me of my favourite local restaurant in Waterton. It truly feels as though my mother cooked her very best meal. I would recommend this place for eats and I see myself going here far more often now. Good job!
I was visiting my boyfriend working out of town. I checked out reviews for the food and there was lots of good ones saying it was delicious so I decided to give it a shot. I wasn't to thrilled with the burger or poutine. It was pretty bland and tasted like nothing special so if the owner is reading this invest in some herbs and spices it goes a long way. But the server we had was amazing, friendly and prompt. I forget her name but she is a student down there from calgary. Plus they had lots of tvs and pool tables so I will go back for those factors, I also am amazed you can rent a hair straightener in the bathroom haha. I just wish playing darts was free if your buying drinks and food there.
