If you've been to the Keg and everything about your experience was great but you had to send a steak back because it was over/under cooked. This Keg is for you, two of my three sliders were bang on, but the third was almost all fat and no prime rib. Service was good, comped both steak meals.
This place is known for quality and service. Whatever you do, do not fill up on the warm bread before the entree! You are bound to lose your appetite before you leave so make sure to leave a little room for dessert. My favorite is the mini creme-brule.
Such a great experience the other day. I wish I caught the name of our server as he was so good. Knowledgeable about the menu, on top of our drinks and meals. He made us laugh several times and made the evening really fun. We will be sure to have another family dinner here and hope to have him as our server once again!
We had a delicious 8 oz. Sirloin meal. Everything was cooked perfectly. I also thought that the price was reasonable for what we received. The waiter was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. It lost a star as I would have liked to see a bigger selection on the menu. It was fairly limited. I loved that they marked gluten free options on the menu however.
The service is always excellent here. The food has been very hit or miss lately. The last 4 times we have come, our steaks have been very overcooked, and a couple of times they were gristly. Its frustrating, given that steak is kinda the Kegs thing. We feel spending $100+ on a meal for two people, and not being satisfied is pretty disappointing. We have had better luck with the prime rib, so we went to order that last night and they were sold out. I think that might be our last visit to the Keg for a while... 5 stars for service, 2 for food.
