We just checked out the new lunch menu and it was amazing!!! We had the meatballs as an appetizer and both had the halibut sandwich as a main. I cant stop thinking about how good it was. I cant wait to get back in for another meal. The staff is always very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. Hint- the lunch menu is very reasonably priced if you want to give this place a try. The dinner menu is wonderful for a special occasion or just a simple date night (its a small restaurant, make reservations so you wont be disappointed). I highly recommend the Plum for lunch, dinner or cocktails!
Culmina Gruner goes perfectly with the cheese board, which is my favorite dish there. They are often changing it up so you never know what delights will be placed in front of you on the board. My favorite is the blue cheese with honey and coffee grounds. Amazing! The service here is always friendly and I am always there alone on travel and the eating bar is a perfect place for me.
Amazing food and excellent service! Whatever you order off the menu, it will not disappoint. Everything was delicious! I definitely recommend the boutique cheese appetizer. The only thing we were sorry about is that we didn't have room for dessert.
Oh my goodness! I have to knock a star off every other review I've posted because that was AMAZING! What an absolutely fantastic meal! And delicious drinks, hoooo boy! Guaranteed I will be making the road trip down here from Calgary to dine here again. Such a classy joint too, beautiful artwork and cozy atmosphere.
Not a very large menu but they make up for it with the variety that it consists of and the way the food is perfectly executed! The atmosphere was intimate, and the servers were all very kind and took the time to pay attention to everyone, even though the building was absolutely packed! The bartender was very skilled and clearly knew what he was doing, and was very particular about how clean the glasses were (which was awesome!)! They also have this little love book that you can sign when you get your bill, and we loved reading some of the messages that people had left behind! One of the people working there told us that they change their menu every 3 months to stay current to the season, and they try to stay local with their ingredients, which is also super awesome! Also if it sweetens the pot for anyone thinking about dining here, the staff is very attractive
