Room was super clean & we had requested a pet room in case we had to bring our fur kid. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool was a bit chilly- our only complaint!
Very nicely updated rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Great location in a central spot within Lethbridge with plenty of restaurants around. The lodge has been needing an update for some time, so it's great to see Sandman take it on. Couple of minor things which keeps this rating at 4 instead of 5 stars: sliding bathroom door - saves space I suppose, but is not great with kids. If there was some way of locking it, that would be better, but a traditional door is always nice. Sound proofing is still a bit of an issue and noises from the hall can be heard in the room. It wasn't terrible, but new hotels seem to have it figured out better. The breakfast vouchers were great but the same breakfast was served both mornings we stayed, it would be nice to mix it up a bit and add either pancakes or waffles like many other places have. All in all, a good stay and would recommend.
AMAZING!! Beautiful place. Nice and classy renovated rooms and the pool area is great! Nice and big and feels very tropical. One of the best hotels Ive stayed in. You even get a courtesy call shortly after your in your room to make sure everything is satisfactory! Great customer service!!!
A very pleasant surprise! From the exterior it doesn't look like anything special, but this was an exceptional experience on a long road trip. Excellent staff, surprisingly nice rooms and the Italian restaurant in the hotel is outstanding! Excellent service, beautiful setting and one of the best meals I can remember in any restaurant I've been to. I would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone traveling in the area.
They have done some renos which is good. But color scheme doesn't work. Grey stripped hallways makes you feel like your at an institution. The restaurant is a good change
