Hotel staff are very friendly, rooms are always clean. Lots of extras are included, I forgot my toothbrush this last trip and they gave me some toothpaste and a toothbrush. The only reason it's not a 5 star is I've been bumped in the past from the suite I booked to a regular room because a bunch of diamond members showed up. I get the loyalty programs but when someone books a room well in advance they should get that room.
Evening corporate reception with food and drinks was nice but its a shame you dont recycle especially the cans and bottles from the drinks. Only a garbage can was provided beside table and cans went straight to the trash.The lady hosting reception was nice but was more interested in talking with her husband and friend then other guests.Room was very nice and clean and staff were friendly, probably friendlier than any other hotel I have stayed at.If you recycled your cans and bottles I would have given this a 5 out 5 review instead of 3 our 5 as recycling is very important to me.
We were really happy with the Hampton Inn in Lethbridge. The staff was great -they were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and the rooms were really nice. Also the waterslide kept the kids going for hours. All and all, would totally stay there again.
The overall experience was not great. We arrived at 130 and were told check in is at 3 so we left for about an hour. When we returned we were told there wouldn't be any rooms at all until three. While we waited at least 4 other people were able to check into their rooms. When we left at 330 there was still no available room thankfully we knew other people staying in the hotel and were able to shower before the wedding. We were finally able to check in when we returned at 1 am but when we got to our room the door had been left open since the cleaners left. For approximately 7 hours. The front desk was not very helpful the next morning and did not even make an effort to apologize.
Arrived at 2pm to check in and room was not ready. The front desk girl (very courteous and polite girl) politely asked the housekeeping manager or supervisor (heavier set woman) if the room was ready and she snapped back and said check in time is 3 dont ask me again.We have never seen such rude attitude from a hotel staff member ever in the years of traveling. You would think that one hour before checkin something would be ready for guests, I mean one hour early is not a huge demand.We came back at 3pm and guess what room was not ready also and same front desk girl apologized and tried to find us a room but would not get a answer back from housekeeping.We got in our room at 4:30pm finally, wow an hour and half late and this housekeeping manager lady thinks thats acceptable? NO IT IS NOT!
