Fun place to stop and go for a walk. Nice Lake and walking paths all around it. It has 2 playgrounds that we love. Lots of trees and benches. There are lots of festivals during the summer.
Its a Good park for Kids and Adults to go to!The playground is big enough for kids probably ages 4-12 or 13 and for adults can walk aroynd the lake with their kids! What I love more about the park is that The Trails have been changed into like a Flat sidewalk because before it used to be like bricks...
Enjoyed taking kids to the center park, walking to the concession and having an ice cream snack (portions are small compared to other tourist spots). However, it has been a few years since walking in the park and some things could be better. There we smoke butts absolutely everywhere along with bits of garbage strewn about-though these days, that seems beautiful when compared to the other things found littering our parks . it could have been worse. But we enjoyed the walk and the park, and the couple of ducks we saw.
Fantastic park to go for picnics, catch a few fish or just a walk around. Great place on Canada day with tons of activities. Lots of people walk around it for regular exercise.
Lots of Pokestops/Gyms around Henderson. Great to walk in a loop and enjoy the fresh air, park, docks, bridges, while being able to play the game. Tons of trees that are great for shade and benches along if you get tired and need a break!
