Bought my i-pad there about 2 months ago, did a few things wrong trying to program it and was in over over my head. Made a telephone appointment and went to see them explaining what I had done. First a younger gentleman worked on it and then a young lady (I think she was the manager) worked on it for at least 3/4 of an hour, she wouldn't give up and finally got it fixed.Nothing but praise for the staff! Was willing to pay, but wouln't accept any money.
While I enjoyed the service I got the first time, when I went into the store a second time I wasn't greeted with the respect I thought I should be. I felt as though they did not want to help me. I had gone in the first time on recommendation from apple directly to fix my phone. He said he could not do anything without recreating the problem. Totally understandable. The second time it seemed as though the tech (a different guy) didn't want to come out of the back room. I also felt as though they were talking down to me. Explaining things that they assumed I didn't already know. I work at a tech store as well and know all the basic knowledge and then some. I spoke with apple again and the advice I was given when the guy in the store decided to come out and talk to me confused the apple rep I got in contact with. He informed me that it could not be done. Now I won't stop coming there for service if need be but I just don't enjoy being treated like another "dumb" girl, and made to feel like I'm hassling the staff.
I am writing this review based off my uncle's disappointing experience dealing with iworld. They have the worst return policy and are focused only on making money without offering any customer service. We like to support local business' but will be now ordering a computer for our daughter online.
Went to the iWorld store to purchase an apple iPod mini 4. Found it very hard to believe on a Wednesday, in a store that just sells computers, had not one in stock. Went over to Best Buy, who had 33 in stock, to make my purchase. We are an apple family and have usually found them to be quite helpful, at a cost.
The girl who worked today August 14 2018 shouldn't be working in a customer service job. If you don't like your job quit it. You were extremely rude when I asked you for a discount on a case after I was going to buy an iphone x for 1350 plus taxes. Maybe you didn't care but the owners want to stay in business. Luckily for me the guy stepped in and helped me out. I didn't grab a name but thanks the gentleman who helped me. I appreciate making my day a little better.
