Well worth the visit. An old building completely modernized inside and out, lots of interesting exhibits and information mainly about southern Alberta and it's place within Canada.
We attended a wedding there and the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating, especially to the kids that were in attendance! Beautiful location and view!
It's a little small but the entrance fee is about right for it. I learned a lot of Canadian history. The lady at the front desk was very kind and we had a great conversation about the museum and Canada in general. Very personable.
I enjoyed the information and displays. They were changing some of the exhibits so we were not able to see one area. I loved the display in the basement. It was about womens influences in history, kind of. Done with hooked fabrics on canvas. Very interesting.
A great selection of indigenous gift and cool books, be sure to ask for a reusable bag if you spend $50 or more its free
