The tour guide was very knowledgeable with excellent facts and tidbits about history. He was engaging to the kids on tour as well, letting them feel the furs and try on RCMP jackets!
Oh this was such a great experience, I have lived here for 4 yrs and never been. A friend from Cranbrook BC came to visit and wanted to see some things here. I was bringing her to see the High Level Bridge, and noticed the fort was open. So in we went, paid only $21.00 for both of us. We listened to a short movie, got a guided tour (Thanks Harrison), had a bit if a break in the large Teepee(Thanks Blanch for sharing your life experience), and took a horse and buggy ride. This truly was a great day, got amazing pictures to share, it was one of the best afternoons.
Enjoyed the tour. Very informative. Liked the horse carriage and Story teller. Very knowledgable. Tour of the nature center was very informative and staff there were friendly. Kids loved the telescope of the Hawk eating its prey on the hill.
It was a step back in time and a look into the rich history of Southern Alberta. Educational and interactive, reasonably priced, and there were plenty of activities and events throughout the day.
A bit pricey for the whole family but worth it. Great interactive displays and bery knowledgable staff. Very fun place to visit. We were there for the Calvalry re-enactment cannon and rifle demonstration.
