This is a small but functional airport. All the staff I've dealt with have been friendly and security is always quick. As others have said, there is no food here other than vending machines, but you're usually not here for that long anyway. My only complaints are the dismal lighting in the bathroom and the lack of a water fountain pre OR post security. Every other small airport I've been in has at least had water, since you lose yours at security. You can buy water and pop post-security, but I'd rather not. I emailed a suggestion for a water fountain last year with no reply... hopefully if more people request it, it will eventually be taken seriously.
So happy Westjet now flies into here.
No food or drink offered other than junk food in machines. Virtually no places anywhere in the airport to charge a phone or device. Not a modern airport.
Excellent customer service, friendly staff! The on-duty security guard Nick and Air Canada ticketing agent manager Danielle (sp?) went above and beyond to help me get on the correct flight back to the States. I hope I get to visit again.
Frequent this airport at least every 2 weeks for my husbands commute to work. Staff always helpful in this cute accomodating little airport but watch out for Denise, shes extremely rude and Inpersonable!! Also ignorant and condescending. Security staff extremely friendly! Be on time but always plan for the flight to be quite delayed...
