Sunshine Capital of Canada, that's because the wind blows all the clowds away.The down town core like many cities the big Box stores have made it hard to compete for the small boutique shops found down town.City planning is another issue.Dusty, dingy down town.Low wages, same rent as Calgary and higher propertie Tax than Calgary!Dont plow main Bridge, just lower speed limit.Great news also in the City of Lethbridge we have a very large Needle Exchange sights that Police wont go to enforce Laws. So when your kids want to go out and play, there's a spot with no Cops!The People are amazing, I do mean that.
Very busy little place is this. It has got a decent amount of good little shops and a lot of parking, and that's where you have got to be careful, because you have a lot of idiot's speed around.
Met up with my niece who's attending UofL she took us there and we spent the day in this shopping area. Tond of great snacking spots, and some good grocery shopping too. Yup, you may of guessed it, it was all my treat. Can't wait to go again.
