I'm from the UK where you get restaurants from all corners of the world and I've lived in a few countries within. Europe and had some awesome food along the way. Then i came too Canada in 2009 and i couldn't find anywhere that could beat the flavors that I've had the pleasure of having in my travels and then MAMA LA opened and OMG!! This place is fantastic, its run by a brother and sister and their amazing friendly staff. The staff here are super friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you have regarding the amazing food. The food is beyond amazing, full of flavor and the portion sizes are great and the prices are great too. This place is a must go to place, but be warned, they do get very busy because of how popular they are and for how good their food is. Keep up the great work MAMA LA. Oh the restaurant is named after the owners Mom. How awesome is that.
Nice restaurant with a modern vibe. The service was very friendly but most important of all the food is on point! The lemon grass beef vermicelli noodle was amazing. The spicy beef noodle was many sophisticated layers of spicy , thanks to the various spices added. Price is fair for the big portion
Locally owned and amazingly delicious. Great staff. Extremely pleasant owner. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will be back very soon. Totally worth the drive from Coaldale.
Amazing everything. Diana and her team are putting out some of the best food in town. Also, its a great concept. Portion size, value, taste is all on point. Authentic flavours and passion makes Mama La worth the visit. Keep in mind, the concept for seating is different than a sit down restaurant. I've spoken to the team at Mama La, this is to provide more cost savings and value to the customers. Worth the stop. Also, they are adding new menu items all the time.
This is the best Vietnamese food I have had in a long time! I can't recommend this place enough. The staff and owner are really friendly. The place is really cute and modern, and it's always clean! I try to take my friends and acquaintances to this restaurant whenever possible. Portions are great, food is delicious, and I can't think of any negatives to be honest.
