The staff is remarkable. They are professional, nonjudgmental and maintain a friendly warmth. I recommend the pharmacists and staff to anyone.
I visit Stubbs most often for the Canada Post outlet, but always end up spending time browsing the gift section of the store. It has become my go to place for greeting cards, as they have a great selection including UNICEF. Also lots of unique gifts.
Had a prescription to fill and just moved a few blocks from Stubb's. Silly name but my prescription was filled in mere minutes even though they were busy. Also was happy to find the store spotlessly clean, bright and they have a wonderful coffee for 69 cents. They do delivery for prescriptions, blister packs, postal office inside, etc. I'm taking 1/2 a star off, I felt they tried a bit too hard to make me a customer, odd as it sounds. I just need honesty, not brown nosing. Took off 1/2 a star, I felt some prices on common things were very expensive. eg Nyquil liquid $12.99...With the hospital and multiple doctor offices so near by...I don't think they need to gouge customers quite so much.
The pharmacy took one month out of my refills. I take two blood pressure pills everyday. I try to get them both together every month on the same day. After the error. They keep telling me. I have to wait a few days before I can get one of my pills. This could give me a heart attack. If I'm forced to take just one of my pills each day while waiting for them to release my other ones. When they know about these pills and don't seem to understand nor care about the importance of why I need both my pills given to me on the same day. That you start to see the real dangers they present to their customers. Please consider getting your prescriptions somewhere else. Your life may depend on it.
