To start off it is rare that I will give out a 5 star rating as I feel there is no such thing as 5/5 but Shaw and Associates get the full 5 stars.Shelly and the staff were fantastic to deal with. There are a couple of things that I found sets them apart from others. First is their attention to detail ensuring you are taken care and they don't leave you hanging if you are audited. Secondly and more important you aren't treated just as a client / another number they take the time to get to know you and become part of their "Family" so to speak.
In all my years as a business owner (17+), I have never worked with an accountant team as helpful as this year with Shelly. They are so patient with my questions and helpful with their directions for improving my bottom line. I never feel rushed or ignorant. And two of the best things: one, I can now trust to them all my business and personal bookkeeping which takes an enormous load off my shoulders, and two, I have a monthly payment plan with them that gives me the bookkeeping, income tax management and access to the Shaw team with any questions or concerns I have throughout the year! I'm mightily impressed with the service and the stress it's relieved for me. Already this year I saved money with things that had been missed by other accounting firms for years prior, I no longer have to second guess my own bookkeeping, I get monthly updates as to the financial side of my business so I can manage goals better, and I understand my business more than I use to - all thanks to my smart decision to choose to work with Shelly and her team. They're a 10/5 in my books :)
Shelly, Barb, Micayla, Brad, Ryan, Cathy and Shelly have been amazing to deal with. They always get our stuff done efficiently, answer any questions we have, and teach us how to run the best business possible. Also, we pay WAY less tax than we used to (legally of course)! Highly recommend these guys!!
I could not be more impressed with the genuine care and thorough nature of Micayla and Shelly. They have taken an untold amount of stress off of me personally, and I truly believe that for the first time in my company history, my numbers and monthly reporting are accurate and dependable.
